Rotary District 7210 ShelterBox HEROES!
As you all know, ShelterBox is Rotary International's one and only official disaster relief Project Partner, and the ShelterBox HERO Club program began right here in our District 7210! Each year over 20 of our District's Clubs are recognized nationally as ShelterBox HERO Clubs!
NOW, at the beginning of our Rotary year, is the time for you and your Club to become a HERO and help ShelterBox deliver emergency shelter and essential supplies to families who have lost everything to disaster. This Stock the Box campaign, which runs through September 30, is all about readiness—because being prepared saves lives. By supporting ShelterBox, you're helping ensure aid is ready to go the moment disaster strikes—so no family is left waiting for shelter.
Here’s what your gift can provide (be sure to note your Rotary Club name and District 7210 on the donation form):
$1,000 (ShelterBox HERO Bronze level): A complete shelter package with a sturdy tent, tools, blankets, solar lights, kitchen set, clean water, and other life-saving essentials.
$250: Blankets and mattresses for a family of five to stay warm at night.
$100: Emergency tools and supplies to help a family repair a damaged home.
$30: The security of solar light when the power is out.
