Many of you know I joined Shelter Box as an Ambassador in 2022 when I saw the devastation caused by the Russian attacks on Ukraine.  Last summer my daughter Katrina, granddaughter Sophie and I hiked 30 miles over 4 days in Yosemite raising funds for Shelter Box.  Thank you to all who supported our fundraiser. The need today is greater than ever.  There are more displaced people in the world today than ever before in history. This Stock The Box fundraiser is to help Shelter Box be prepared for the next disaster which we know is not a matter of if, but when.

I'm raising funds for this cause which is close to my heart: providing emergency shelter and essential supplies to families who have lost everything to disaster. Please consider donating to help ShelterBox ensure no family is left without shelter when they need it most. Here’s what your gift can provide: $1,000: A customized shelter package with a sturdy tent, tools, blankets, solar lights, a kitchen set, clean water, warm clothing, and other life-saving items. $250: Blankets and mattresses for a family of five to stay warm at night. $100: Emergency shelter tools and supplies for a family to repair a damaged home. $30: The security of light after dark when electricity is unavailable. Your contribution helps us reach families quickly after disaster strikes. Together, we can bring safety, dignity, and hope to displaced families facing unimaginable challenges. Telling a family who has lost their home 
we don't have enough shelter is the toughest challenge we face. 

When disasters strike without warning, access to shelter can mean the difference between life and death. Prepositioning emergency aid in warehouses worldwide allows us to reach people faster and more efficiently.


In the past year, ShelterBox supported over 325,000 people in 14 countries, swiftly responding to crises in Morocco, Malawi, Ukraine, Gaza, and more. Now, we need your help to restock our global warehouses.

Mohamed's Story

In September 2023, a devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Morocco, destroying Mohamed’s village and taking the lives of his loved ones. As a community leader, Mohamed not only rebuilt his life but also helped his community recover.


With aid prepositioned in our Dubai warehouse, ShelterBox and Rotary International provided tents, solar lights, cook sets, and thermal blankets to 20 villages, including Mohamed’s. This aid was crucial in protecting families from the harsh winter and keeping communities together.
