About Every Body Rides with Grace Reduce the Carbon Footprint Ride

Each year, EBRWG holds a community ride at the La Llorona South Park and Multi-Use Path. Activities include cycle giveaways, helmet fittings, hands on activities and group engagement on topics such as bike safety, and stewardship of public lands. a group ride and refreshments. The event runs from 9am-11am. The ride begins at 10:00 am. We ask volunteers to arrive at 8:00 am for set up and stay after for clean up. We set up at La Llorona South Park. This year we would like to spotlight the birds and animals that live along the Rio Grande. We are seeking people who are familiar with the animals and would be willing to share more about them with participants. Additionally, we would like to offer more activity tables, with sensory or hands on activities that relate to stewardship, biological resource management or any activities honoring the historical/cultural significance of the land. Additionally we would welcome people willing to organize refreshments. We do have some funding available for supplies. If you are an individual or organization that would like to volunteer in this capacity, please contact me and share this information. The event is free and open to the whole community. Participants are welcome to walk, ride or roll along the parade route. Well behaved leashed pets are also welcome to attend.
