DESCRIPTION:Each year\,  EBRWG holds a community ride at the La Llorona S
 outh Park and Multi-Use Path. Activities include cycle giveaways\, helme
 t fittings\, hands on activities and group engagement on topics such as 
 bike safety\, and stewardship of public lands. a group ride and refreshm
 ents.  The event runs from 9am-11am. The ride begins at 10:00 am. We ask
  volunteers to arrive at 8:00 am for set up and stay after for clean up.
   We set up at La Llorona South Park.  This year we would like to spotli
 ght the birds and animals that live along the Rio Grande.  We are seekin
 g people who are familiar with the animals and would be willing to share
  more about them with participants.  Additionally\, we would like to off
 er more activity tables\, with sensory or hands on activities that relat
 e to stewardship\, biological resource management or any activities hono
 ring the historical/cultural significance of the land. Additionally we w
 ould welcome people willing to organize refreshments.  We do have some f
 unding available for supplies.  If you are an individual or organization
  that would like to volunteer in this capacity\, please contact me and s
 hare this information.  The event is free and open to the whole communit
 y.  Participants are welcome to walk\, ride or roll along the parade rou
 te. Well behaved leashed pets are also welcome to attend.
