We invite you to join us for a benefit concert produced by Aaron Bao supporting the work of the Tahirih Justice Center. Come and enjoy a lovely afternoon full of fine music, food and fundraising.
Performers include Paul Ji, PIANIST, Grand Champion of France 2 TV’s “Prodiges,” Lucas Chen, CELLIST, 1st Prize US Open Music Competition, Anthony Qin, SAXOPHONIST, 1st Prize American Protege International Concerto Competition, and so much more!
There will also be an appearance and brief speech by Tahirih's San Francisco Bay Area Executive Director, Morgan Weibel.
There will also be a student art exhibit, "Peace, Love, Unity," present outside the hall.

Thank you to over 175 attendees for coming together with us on Saturday, August 20th for the Soaring In Concert benefit and art exhibit! A special thanks to the performers, volunteers, and artists that worked together to make this concert a success with such immense talent and generosity of spirit. Your participation honors the resiliency and strength of the survivors served by the Tahirih Justice Center and helps the Bay Area Office continue its important mission of supporting immigrant survivors of gender-based violence.
We are thrilled to announce that we exceeded our fundraising goal for this event, raising a total of $30,051 and there are more pledges coming in thanks to the generosity of this community. These funds will directly impact the lives of dozens of families seeking safety in the United States.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for all of your support for Soaring In Concert and Tahirih Justice Center! Your donation helps Tahirih continue to provide free legal and social services to those in need and advocate at the frontlines of our country’s asylum policies.
We also want to briefly mention COVID protocols at the event. We strongly encourage attendees to self-test before arrival to keep one another as safe as possible at this event.
