Our Story
Since its founding in 2023, Ithaca Pride Alliance has served as an essential hub for the LGBTQ+ community in Ithaca and across Tompkins County. This group was born out of a shared desire to create more connection, celebration, and solidarity. We’ve achieved this by planning and advertising events, sharing information and resources, and providing education to and about LGBTQ+ culture.
2025 Pride: Queer Joy, Queer Power
Queer joy is resistance. In a time when LGBTQ+ rights and identities continue to be threatened, uplifting our community is an essential act.
We’re proud to once again partner with the Downtown Ithaca Alliance and local organizations to bring you Ithaca Pride Week 2025 - a celebration that centers the voices, experiences, and radical joy of LGBTQ+ folks in our region.
How You Can Help
Pride is more than a party, it’s a movement. And like every movement, it needs resources to thrive. Every dollar helps us bring our vision of an empowering, joyful Pride Week to life.
Your generous donations will directly support the organization of this meaningful celebration and will bring us one step closer to realizing our dream of a more connected community. So far, we have raised $15,000 through Sponsor Commitments. We need to raise a total of $30,000 to cover all of the expenses related to this event, and we need your help to do that. The population of Ithaca is estimate to be over 30,000 individuals. If just 150 of Ithacans donated $100, we will make our goal. Every dollar counts, so please consider making a gift and sharing the word!
