Dear ’97,
We’re getting closer! Reunion is less than 2 months away and we’re very excited. The RSVPs are rolling in and we have nearly 20 alums (not including spouses/partners) coming, and we are expecting more. (We had 30 at our 20th and we would love to hit that target again!)
Remember: May 13-14, 2022.
Just to review: there are many events planned on reunion weekend. In addition to those planned on campus, Katie Krock will be hosting us on Friday night at her home for a “1997 Drinks and Dinner". Not to be missed. Don’t forget to RSVP. Details soon!
As you already know, this reunion year, instead of contributing to the cost of Friday night’s dinner as per usual, we have established a tribute fund in memory of Tom and Chase.
Our time with them began at Bancroft—so for us to be able to give back to the school in their name feels right at this moment. If you donate this year, think of Chase (his passion and infectious spirit, his music, his smile, and his trademarked mohawk) and Tom (his voice, his humor, his warmth, and, of course, his dance moves). We hope to help current and future students, kids like them, to continue to thrive at Bancroft. Any amount - even $20 - will make a difference. You can use this site to make your secure gift.
Please keep in mind that participation is what is most important here. Sort of like an alumni class competition (we usually won those things, remember?), except this time it’s in Chase and Tom’s memory. But most of all, first and foremost, we want everyone to come for reunion no matter what. We miss you.
Lastly, you’ll likely be hearing from one (or a few of us) to strongly encourage (nudge, coerce, even convince) you to come to reunion, especially to Katie’s home on Lake Quinsig. All accompanied by a 90’s playlist as our soundtrack, naturally.
