At Tri-County, we know that individuals and families can use a helping hand from time to time. Established under President Johnson’s “War on Poverty” and the passage of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, we offer a broad range of services and programs to provide a helping hand to those in need and to build a foundation of self-sufficiency. What started out as a 1 location office building in Johnston has grown steadily to the Tri-County of today; a network of 14 locations from Pascoag to Westerly serving individuals and families throughout the state of Rhode Island. In addition to services we provide, Tri-County partners with community organizations to ensure we have the resources to meet our clients’ every need. Through assistance, partnership, advocacy, outreach and quality services, we can protect and improve the lives of the children, adults and families we serve.
We are excited to offer over 60 programs and services, covering a variety of basic needs areas, including but not limited to:
Primary Medical Care
Mental Health and Substance Use Counseling and Treatment
