Meet Dori
2020 Adapted Bike Recipient
Age 5
Dori is hard at work in therapy at Easterseals building the strength and coordination she needs to crawl and build the muscle memory she needs to stand and take steps with a walker. Feeding and speech therapy are supporting her nutrition and communication needs. Her mom loves seeing her become more mobile and verbal and describes her as “a totally different kid from when she started at Easterseals.”
Dori’s bike, and the ability to ride it, will enable her to keep up with her siblings – especially her twin brother!
