Meet Alex

Alex is a 7-year-old boy who currently attends physical therapy and speech therapy. In physical therapy, he is working on steering and control of his gait trainer so he can walk more independently. In speech therapy, Alex is learning to communicate using an eye gaze device and is exploring various communication methods to better express his needs. 

Therapies at Easterseals have helped Alex become more independent in his daily life and have guided his family to medical specialists, equipment vendors, and have helped them better problem solve ways to meet his needs. An adapted bike will help Alex be more mobile, improve his leg strength, and will help him experience biking with his older brother and other children his age.
