Our Team Story

It's that time of year and the Liberty NY Rotary Club is proud to once again support the 45th Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-a-thon!  The event will take place on Friday, February 17th, 2023 at Resorts World Catskills from 6 AM-6 PM.

This year's focus includes Prevention, Education, and Treatment of Heart Disease in Sullivan County.

100% of the funds raised stay right here in the Sullivan Catskills!

  • Sullivan 180’s Empowering a Healthier Generation and Healthiest Fire Department Challenge Turtle awards; grants for schools and fire department who are actively making changes that improve the health of our youth and first responders.
  • A Single Bite’s four-part Real Food Education Program; which teaches Sullivan County students to care about the food they eat and where it comes from, challenging them to make healthy choices whenever possible.
  • Steam Fund’s Full Steam Ahead with Healthy Habits initiative; designed to make a generational improvement in health using music, songwriting, mindfulness, and movement providing children with tools to make healthier choices; and
  • Garnet Health Medical Center Catskills will receive funding to purchase state of the art Echocardiogram Equipment.

We hope that you can find it in your hearts (pun intended) to make a donation today.

And don't forget to sign up for the Rotary Blood Drive being held during the Heart-a-thon.  There is a severe blood shortage and every drop helps.
