Our Team Story
Donations help sponsor the LALSA Summer 2021 Grants.
Please help us reach our goal, a gift of any size is greatly appreciated
Due to COVID 19, we are currently attending classes remotely and as such we are unable to host our main fundraising event, LALSAWEEN as well as limits some of our original fundraising events for the school year. In spite of this the LALSA board is determined to raise money for the LALSA Summer 2021 Scholarships. Many of our students at CUNY want to do public interest law and as we all know most of the summer internships in the public interest field are UNPAID.
To help alleviate some of this financial strain on students, LALSA has historically provided $3000 per recipient. Last year, we were able to give out three scholarships, this year our goal is to give out four scholarships. Please consider making a donation of any size.

- Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA)
Mission: This group sponsors academic, cultural, social, and community service activities to strengthen the presence of Latinos in the legal profession. LALSA serves as a liaison between its members and the administration, the student body, alumni, and professionals in the field. LALSA also works to increase the number of Latin American students at CUNY and to ensure that students receive support to achieve academic and professional success. LALSA is a co-sponsor of a student-organized pre-law workshop for incoming students.
