Family Promise believes in keeping every family together through its crisis, regardless of the makeup of the family. Not only that, but ever since the pandemic they keep families together in an innovative shelter model that leases and furnishes apartments through donations (thanks to dozens of congregation and corporate partners). Families can move right in the same day they call for help if there is an opening! As one of Indianapolis leading homeless shelters, they have helped more than 2,000 unhoused families sign leases on places of their own!
