Our Team Story

Donate to Social Justice Legal Scholarship

CUNY Law Review needs your assistance to ensure that we can continue to provide a forum for social justice scholarship. The Student Authorship Initiative is designed to support the development and publication of student scholarship. Your donation will help:

  • Expand the CUNY Law Review Blog -- an accessible platform to publish, timely groundbreaking legal scholarship to help break down barriers to the law
  • Compensate authors who are from nontraditional legal fields, not practicing attorneys and/or academics
  • Provide summer or Bar grants for public interest law students and support the next generation of social justice scholars

We remain hopeful that we can continue our work and ask for your help in that endeavor. Thank you for your support.

Mission: The City University of New York Law Review (“CUNYLR”) aims to publish work authored by cutting-edge social justice scholars and public interest practitioners. We strive to provide a forum for community advocates, organizers, and allies, to influence and radicalize legal practice. These aims are motivated by the Law Review’s larger social justice vision: to address the consequences of structural oppression, and to challenge these structures themselves. To stay up to date, follow us on Twitter and instagram!
