Support our BLSA community by raising funds for Summer '24 Grants.

This year BLSA will be awarding Summer Grants funding in five categories:

1.  BLSA Summer '24 Racial Justice Grant in Recognition of Outstanding Leadership within the Black Community
2. BLSA Summer '24 Humanitarian Grant In Recognition of Outstanding Service within the Black Immigrant Community
3. BLSA Summer '24 Mental Wellness Grant for students in need of financial support to address barriers to their academic success
4. BLSA Summer ‘24 Housing Grant for out-of-state students in need of financial support to address barriers to securing housing.
5. Bar Grants for 2024 graduates

Mission: The Black Law Student Association (BLSA) at CUNY School of Law is committed to supporting the success and empowerment of its members by maintaining a student mentorship program, hosting alumni networking activities, and fundraising to award annual summer fellowships to students partaking in internships serving the Black community. Additionally, CUNY BLSA sponsors events such as lectures, panels, and workshops that highlight issues confronting the Black Diaspora and celebrate the achievements of persons of color in the legal profession. CUNY BLSA is dedicated to cultivating and promoting a diverse and welcoming community for its members and allies. We are a proud chapter of the National Black Law Student Association.
