Wings of Love is near and dear to my hear. We created this Memorial Fund in memory of our Son, Jacob who was born still, but still born on May 27, 2000 and his fellow baby angels. We have assisted so many families with financial grants (over $50.000.00 since September of 2007) and have created 4 Memorial Gardens in WNY region for families to commune with their baby. I am so grateful for our generous donors. We are so close but short financially to finish our 4th garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY Please consider donating to this memorial fund. "There are two Gifts we should give our children: one is roots and the other is Wings." Fundraising Campaign for the Wings of Love Memorial Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery The Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network's (WNYPBN) Wings of Love Memorial Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery is slated to be completed this fall. This Garden will be the largest of the sites with a beautiful monument representing the love we have for our children who are gone but not forgotten. In order to complete this Memorial Site in a timely fashion, the WNYPBN is spearheading a fundraising campaign to assist our organization in funding it. These Memorial Gardens provide a place of solace and memorialization for bereaved families, in particular for those who have no final resting place for their baby, possibly because they had a miscarriage or because they chose cremation. This eight-foot-tall monument will pay tribute to the babies and families served by the WNYPBN and Wings of Love Memorial Fund, as well as any family that has experienced a perinatal loss. Please consider a donation to help us complete what is certain to be a truly peaceful, exquisite and soulful location, by visiting: https://www.givegab.com/nonprofits/western-new-york-perinatal-bereavement-network-inc/campaigns/wings-of-love-memorial-gardens Or send a check/money order payable to WNYPBN, Inc. to: WNYPBN, Inc. – Wings of Love 30 S Cayuga Road – Lower Williamsville, NY 14221

About this Campaign

Christine Scott

Memorial Gardens provide a place of solace and memorialization for bereaved families who have lost a baby to perinatal death.

The Wings of Love Memorial Fund is a program of the  Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is funded solely by private and corporate donations. “Wings of Love” provides financial assistance for burial costs to ease some of the unexpected financial burden placed on grieving families during the tragic loss of their baby.  The funds are used to purchase infant urns, caskets, and cemetery plots, as well as to pay cremation fees, burial fees, and funeral home expenses.

Through Wings of Love, the WNYPBN has established Memorial Gardens throughout the Western New York region. These gardens provide a place of solace and memorialization for bereaved families, in particular those who have no final resting place for their baby, possibly because they had a miscarriage or because they chose cremation. In order to meet the needs of the families that we serve, the WNYPBN is working to complete its fourth memorial garden. This memorial will feature a monument with a bronze tree design, symbolizing the honor and love for our children that will remain rooted in our hearts forever. This eight-foot-tall monument will pay tribute to the babies and families served by the WNYPBN and Wings of Love Memorial Fund, as well as any family that has experienced a perinatal loss.

Together, the Wings of Love Memorial Fund and the Wings of Love Memorial Gardens meet the financial needs as well as the emotional needs of bereaved families who may otherwise not have options for interment of their baby. Donations made toward Wings of Love will help the WNYPBN to assist families in our area who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby.

Rendering of the Memorial that will be placed this fall in the new Wings of Love Memorial Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
