Sascha the Schnauzer is running for SNIPSA’s Face of the Race - which sounds athletic, but she has been assured this is mostly about charm. 🏁🖤
While not a rescue herself, she is very much here for the dogs and cats who are. Every donation helps support SNIPSA’s lifesaving work for animals in need - providing care, safety, and second chances to those who deserve them. It also casts a vote for Sascha in the race.
We’ve set a goal, but Sascha would like the record to show that she is comfortable exceeding expectations. She will be campaigning with dignity, limited cardio, and great enthusiasm for snacks.

Which contestant will be our Puro Pup?
It's time to choose the dog who will represent SNIPSA at the 19th Annual 5k Race for the Rescues on September 27th! To the right, you will find the adorable faces of this year's Face of the Race entrants and have the opportunity to read their stories. Each pup is campaigning to raise funds for SNIPSA's life-saving mission. It's up to you to choose the Puro Pup you think will best represent our cause and vote via donation!
The contestant with the most donations will receive a free photoshoot, local fame, representation on Race merch, free admission to the 5k, and a ride in the pace car on Race day. They will also receive the satisfaction of knowing they made an impact on the lives of countless homeless animals in San Antonio!
