I support this organization’s mission because Snipsa has been tireless in rescuing so many dogs from euthanization. Snipsa conducts spay and neuter clinics all over the city with the help of so many volunteers. A shout out ‘Thank you’ to all the volunteers and fosters who have saved so many dogs and cats!
Piper is one of Snipsa rescues. I think she had a hard life before she was found. Was she 7 or 10 when I adopted her? I am so grateful to Snipsa and Her foster. Listed as a coon hound, the description fits. She may be a couch potato but she is a great watch dog and companion.

Which contestant will be our Puro Pup?
It's time to choose the dog who will represent SNIPSA at the 19th Annual 5k Race for the Rescues on September 26th! To the right, you will find the adorable faces of this year's Face of the Race entrants and have the opportunity to read their stories. Each pup is campaigning to raise funds for SNIPSA's life-saving mission. It's up to you to choose the Puro Pup you think will best represent our cause and vote via donation!
The contestant with the most donations will receive a free photoshoot, local fame, representation on Race merch, free admission to the 5k, and a ride in the pace car on Race day. They will also receive the satisfaction of knowing they made an impact on the lives of countless homeless animals in San Antonio!
