With ears that defy gravity and a smile as wide as his heart, Cooper isnât just a good boyâheâs the best boy. This happy-go-lucky pup radiates joy, energy, and pure charisma. Just look at that confident sit, leash-ready and eager to go, with his tongue lolling in the summer sun like he just crushed a 5K and still has fuel to chase squirrels.
But Cooperâs charm doesnât stop at his good looks:
- Resilience? Check. Heâs alert, proud, and clearly ready to lead the packâon paws or with paws up.
- Spirit? Check. That tongue-out grin says âEvery mile is a smile.â
- Relatability? Big check. Cooper doesnât care if youâre fast or slowâheâs just here to cheer you on and maybe grab a post-race snack (or ten).

Which dog will be our 80s icon?
It's time to choose the dog who will represent SNIPSA at the 18th Annual 5k Race for the Rescues on September 27th! To the right, you will find the adorable faces of this year's Face of the Race entrants and have the opportunity to read their stories. Each pup is campaigning to raise funds for SNIPSA's life-saving mission. It's up to you to choose the 80s icon you think will best represent our cause and vote via donation!
The contestant with the most donations will receive a free photoshoot, local fame, representation on Race merch, free admission to the 5k, and a ride in the pace car on Race day. They will also receive the satisfaction of knowing they made an impact on the lives of countless homeless animals in San Antonio!
