Hi! I’m Lilith, a rescue pug! I found myself in a difficult situation when my precious owner made the difficult decision to surrender me to SNIPSA in May 2022. Despite the uncertainty and confusion I felt, I remained resilient and hopeful. The kind-hearted volunteers at SNIPSA welcomed me with open arms and showered me with love, care, and treats!
The day my mama walked through the doors of SNIPSA, my eyes sparkled with excitement, and she instantly fell in love with me. She knew I was meant to be a part of their family.
From that day forward, my life took an extraordinary turn. I blossomed in my new home, surrounded by love, care, and endless adventures with my new brothers and sisters. My journey from being owner-surrendered to finding my forever family became an inspiring tale of resilience, second chances, and the power of love.
I am an ambassador for rescue pugs, spreading awareness about the importance of adoption and the incredible potential that lies within every shelter pet.
Today, I continues to thrive, bringing joy and happiness to everyone I meet. My journey serves as a reminder that no matter how challenging life may seem, with love and compassion, every animal has the opportunity to create a beautiful and fulfilling story of their own.

Which dog will save the city?
I NEED A HERO!
SNIPSA's 17th Annual 5k Race for the Rescues is approaching on September 28th, and we are searching for a superdog to become our Face of the Race! To the right, you will find the sweet faces and extraordinary stories of this year's contestants. The title of Face of the Race will be awarded to the pup who raises the most funds for San Antonio's homeless animal population. So, it's up to YOU to donate towards the pup with the most POWER and INFLUENCE! You may donate/vote as many times and for as many animals as you'd like before midnight on Monday, August 12th.
Our winner will receive a professional photoshoot, their picture on all Race merchandise, a ride in the pace car on Race day and HERO STATUS! Any dog who raises $2,500 or more will also receive a free portrait and representation on this year's "swag".
***All proceeds from the contest provide medical care for rescues within SNIPSA's adoption program and spay/neuter outreach for underserved areas in San Antonio. Thank you for your participation and support!***
