Odin was a SNIPSA rescue from December, he came to me filled with heartworms, and needed treatment asap, thanks to SNIPSA, I didn’t have to pay out of pocket for his treatment, his adoption fee covered it for me, I got $1,200+ worth of medical treatment all from just his adoption fee!! Now it’s Odin’s Turn to pay SNIPSA back as a thank you, his eyes just scream “mom I want to be face of the race” and I just couldn’t say no, plus I think it’s about time that the face of the race is 153 pounds of pure perfection

I NEED A HERO!

SNIPSA's 17th Annual 5k Race for the Rescues is approaching on September 28th, and we are searching for a superdog to become our Face of the Race! To the right, you will find the sweet faces and extraordinary stories of this year's contestants. The title of Face of the Race will be awarded to the pup who raises the most funds for San Antonio's homeless animal population. So, it's up to YOU to donate towards the pup with the most POWER and INFLUENCE! You may donate/vote as many times and for as many animals as you'd like before midnight on Monday, August 12th.

Our winner will receive a professional photoshoot, their picture on all Race merchandise, a ride in the pace car on Race day and HERO STATUS! Any dog who raises $2,500 or more will also receive a free portrait and representation on this year's "swag".

***All proceeds from the contest provide medical care for rescues within SNIPSA's adoption program and spay/neuter outreach for underserved areas in San Antonio. Thank you for your participation and support!***
