Math-Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Admissions, and HR Team
The Housatonic Social and Behavioral Sciences and Math-Sciences departments, along with Admissions and HR, have joined forces to raise funds to support and assist our students in helping them meet their academic and personal goals.
Please consider donating to our team so that we can ensure the academic success of our amazing and resilient students.

About this Campaign
Math-Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Admissions, and HR Team
You can make a difference in a student's life!
Please consider supporting our students at CT State Housatonic.
Important funds raised on Giving Day will help alleviate costs that may prevent some students from continuing or starting their education with us. Student emergency requests are received every week, and often times, can be helped with a few hundred dollars. This support keeps students in class, getting them closer to obtaining their degree.
The impact of your gift today will mean the difference for a student…
…having food on the table, paying their medical and utility bills or lagging behind in their studies as they refocus to meet their basic needs.
…having their own textbook in class and at home, or falling behind as they save up for books.
…attending all of their classes, or being absent because their car broke down, they don’t have money to pay for childcare, or they have to take another job because of unexpected medical bills.
… earning a certificate that can lead immediately to a good paying job, or successfully completing a program and unable to pay the exam fee to receive the certificate.
These are real barriers that our students face every day. It is often the emergencies, or lack of a few hundred dollars for books or exam fees that derails our student’s dream of achieving a college degree that leads to a career.
The “typical” Housatonic student works one or two jobs, has a child or family to support, and are the first in their family to attend college. Despite these challenges and many more, our 3,000+ students share a common objective –to achieve an education that will lead to a job with a living wage.
And our students need your help.
