We extend our gratitude to the thousands of people who have supported the traditional community through this fundraiser and in so many other ways.
Your donations made through Tiny Seed Project have been used to ensure the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ continue their rematriation effort; including access to housing, land, food, and educational opportunities and supporting community development and cultural security.
New York State does not yet recognize Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ sovereignty and the Bureau of Indian Affairs continues to name Clint Halftown as the Cayuga Nation “tribal representative”. Because of NYS and BIA’s refusals to recognize Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫʼ as a sovereign people, they continue to meet resistance in their struggle to exist and thrive.
While we are no longer inviting donors through GiveGab, please visit the Givebutter fundraising page to support the new legal defense fund!
Thank you for your support. Your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten.
