My family and I first visited Great River Rescue in 2011, when we adopted our cat Simon. It was a great experience and since then we have become more and more involved with the organization. As a volunteer and board member, I get to see all the wonderful work that is done, and all the support that is needed from the community. It takes a lot of resources to rescue and care for animals until they find their forever home. Please join Justin, Mia and I in our support of this great community resource. About The Furr Bowl

Each year, Great River Rescue saves, cares for, and finds homes for hundreds of companion dogs and cats in need.  As a community non-profit, we can only continue this work with the support of our community.  Please join us for the 2018 Furr Bowl and help us raise more funds by creating your own fundraising page.  Seek contributions from family members, friends and colleagues.  Top fundraisers will have first pick of specially-made bowling pins by the artists of Gallery North and will win other great prizes! 

  


Event Details

The Furr Bowl event will be held on Sunday, April 15 from 1 to 3pm at Bemidji Bowl.  Registration is $25.  Everyone should register as an individual, but you can form teams of up to 6 people.  If you are part of a team, simply include your team name when registering and we'll make sure you get on the same lane with your teammates.  All registrants will get to enjoy 2 hours of bowling, free pizza and pop, and lots of great prizes.  All the while you will be supporting a great community cause!

We only have space for 16 lanes of bowlers. Please register early. If you wait, you might miss out!

   


Fundraising 

The best way for you to impact Great River Rescue and our animals is to use your own fundraising page to seek donations from family and friends.
