Team Mario
Hello Friends and Family, It is April which means it time for me to talk about Autism more than usual. Our family does not shy away from taking about Mario and his diagnosis but he is so much more than that autism.
He is a fun, energic teenager who jokes around and loves french fries and ketchup. He loves swimming in a pool or in the ocean and willl ask for these things on his device.
TACA has helped my family connect to doctors, therapies and other families like us. Without TACA our family would not seen the gains in Mario over the years.
TACA provides education, support and hope in a variety of ways. Virtual support and education, conferences, family events, coffee talks, journey guides, website, parent support Facebook group, mentor program, scholarships, and more.
TACA provides education, support and hope to families living with autism so they may have the most meaningful lives possible. We know this to be true because we ARE one of the families helped by TACA. We want more stories like Jeff.
TACA supports over 80,000 members are part of TACA and more than 560 new families find us every month.
Family & Friends share inspiring family stories and helps us fund our programs. Your support WILL make that happen.

The Autism Community in Action (TACA) provides education, support, and empowerment to families and individuals affected by autism to enrich their lives. Family & Friends is TACA’s annual fundraising campaign to give families a tool to pay it forward and help other families on their autism journey.
The power of Family & Friends is families sharing their stories, the inspiration of their children, and asking the community to support the organization that helps families every day. Over 18 years TACA families have raised more than $2.3 million to help TACA continue to provide resources and support for families living with autism.
During April, TACA is moving the autism community forward through awareness and acceptance to action. Together we can positively impact the health, well-being, and quality of life of individuals with autism.
