As many of you know Brandon was diagnosed with Epilepsy back in October 2017. It flipped our world upside down. Brandon only has seizures at night or when taking a nap, which makes it very difficult for me (as a mom) to personally to sleep. Brandon has been on medicine since October and it has been going good. Without the help and guidance of the wonderful people at the Epilepsy Foundation, I wouldn't be where we are today. I was fortunate enough to receive an Emfit Monitor from them which fits under his mattress. If he has a seizure, it sounds an alarm and we can get to him quicker. I slept in bed with him for the first few months after his last seizure because I was too scared to leave him alone. With the help of the Emfit Monitor, I now have moved back into my own bed and we ALL sleep much better at night and with a little less worry. I would like to raise enough money and hopefully more to give back to them for everything they've done for Brandon and our family. Please consider making a donation if you can. We would greatly appreciate it! You never know if and when you or someone you know will have a seizure. Remember 1 in 26 will develop Epilepsy and that is why I'm raising money is for my "1", my boy Brandon. (Also, if you would like to walk with us, please join our team "Brandon's Besties". We'd be happy to have you walk with us!

1 in 26 Americans will develop epilepsy in their lifetime - WILL YOU WALK FOR ONE?

Saturday, July 28, 2018 through Saturday, July 28, 2018

Will you walk for one?

This summer, more than 2,500 people throughout Pennsylvania will join  Epilepsy Western/Central Pennsylvania (EFWCP) for run/walk events in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Johnstown, and Erie. Money raised at these events support your friends and neighbors who are living with epilepsy and seizures.

Join us on Saturday, July 28th at PNC Park for the 30th Annual Pittsburgh Family Fun Run/Walk. The 5k run/2 mile walk course starts at PNC Park, circles Heinz Field, and follows the picturesque Three Rivers Heritage Trail back to Federal Street. After the run/walk, participants are invited to a one-of-a-kind tailgate party on the Roberto Clemente Bridge.

All participants can earn incentive prizes based on the amount they raise!
