Friends of Jeff Ackerman
Thank you for coming to the AckPack Community Power page.
This fundraiser is so important for TACA for two reasons:
1) Families share their stories. They are inspiring!! I hope you get a chance to read them!
2) This campaign greatly helps TACA fund our mission (most of what we do is free to help families.) It is a great way to support during autism action month!
Now over 23 years, I am even more dedicated to TACA because what we do is important. We are the autism community in ACTION. We also believe in our children.
You can help: please share the campaign. Pray for our kids and
most of all make a donation. Your donation in honor of Jeff who was once
non-verbal from 15 months to after age 6 says you believe.
HOW'S JEFF DOING?
Well amazing.....
He’s 27 in April!! (WOW!) He is a college graduate (humanities psychology
major) and now WORKING! He’s doing incredible.
He loves playing and composing music. His attitude is the best. He has
big dreams: play more Heckle ball, get back to Hawaii, find more laughs, see
concerts - specifically The Foo Fighters, Interrupters and Social Distortion
again, date, and make the world a better place. In my view he already has. His
family is SO PROUD OF HIM!

Imagine a world where families raising children with autism have the support and resources, they need to navigate this complex journey. That’s exactly what The Autism Community in Action (TACA) is all about. With autism affecting 1 in 36 children in the U.S. our focus is clear: to empower families by providing them with crucial resources, education, support, and hope. We understand that autism is a spectrum disorder, and the level of severity varies from person to person. That’s why TACA is dedicated to ensuring parents have the tools to make informed decisions about their child’s care. But it’s not just about information – TACA is also here to offer community and unwavering support because no family should feel alone in this journey.
Unite with us to share your compassion and generosity to empower families across the autism spectrum. Your donation will bring positive impact the lives of individuals with autism, significantly enhancing their health, well-being, and overall quality of life.
