Thanks to you, Groundwork Buffalo had an amazing 2019!

This summer our Green Team was busy getting their hands dirty with neighborhood cleanups, outdoor beautification projects as well as tending to, harvesting and donating produce locally grown in the Fruit Belt. In addition, four of our Green Team members had the opportunity to visit Yellowstone National Park where they connected with youth from other Groundwork chapters and worked with park educators and scientists within the field for an experience of a lifetime!

With your support our Green Team has gained invaluable skills necessary to lead, engage and positively impact their community through environmental stewardship and with your continued support we hope to improve, expand and accelerate this impact for the year ahead.

Become a Friend of Groundwork Buffalo for 2020!

Today on Giving Tuesday we are launching our 2019 Year End Campaign by asking you to become a Friend of Groundwork Buffalo. As a Friend of Groundwork Buffalo, you will be directly supporting our mission to build sustainable urban environments in the Greater Buffalo area by engaging and empowering families and communities, including youth, in re-generating and connecting with natural infrastructure and the built environment.

 In 2020 your 'Friendship' will help support Groundwork Buffalo:

*Expand our education programs, including interactive lessons in hydroponics & urban gardening.

*Start a Permaculture area in conjunction with community outreach, engagement & education.

*Clean up one vacant property per week -to keep our neighborhoods beautiful!
