The Canine Classic is a timed run/hike for people and their pups! This event is for both the competitive and the compassionate. Participants can choose from timed half-marathon or 5-mile races, or take in the scenery during a 5-mile or 2-mile hike. Dogs are welcome and encouraged to attend and enjoy this leash-free event on the trap-free lands at The Resort at Paws Up.

After the race the staff at Paws Up prepares a gourmet BBQ complete with beer & wine. PLUS there are great prizes, race swag and fun giveaways.

TOP fundraisers will win great prizes from HSWM and Paws Up. The fundraiser who raises the most money by noon on Saturday, October 7 will win two tickets and transportation to the Wine & Bitch Dinner at Paws Up that night!

All proceeds support the Humane Society of Western Montana.

9:10 am Time Half-Marathon (with dogs)

9:30 am Timed 5-Mile check in

10:00 am Timed 5-Mile (without dogs)

10:10 am Timed 5-Mile (with dogs)

10:00-11:00am 5-Mile and 2-Mile hikes

12:00 pm Lunch!
