For the second year, I’m planning to bike 100 miles to support Easter Seals DuPage and Fox Valley Region. It’s a great ride! My favorite part about this event is the Family Ride, where families with kids of all abilities ride together. Here you’re likely to see kids with physical challenges riding specially adapted bikes to accommodate their needs. Or, you might see a kid who has too many seating challenges to sit safely on a bike being pulled in trailer with a custom-designed seating system. These kids get their bikes and trailers with the assistance of Easter Seals. It’s just one of hundreds of services Easter Seals provides, but it’s one of my favorites. I had an adapted bike for Lucas. It was a great way to get him out into the neighborhood without his wheelchair. He loved the fresh air and being outside, Eli loved riding with him, and people thought his bike was cool. Best of all, we were able to participate in a quintessential summer time activity: kids out on the sidewalk riding bikes. Hop on your bike to support Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley!

Choose your distance, and celebrate at the finish line with refreshments and family-friendly entertainment. Adapted bikes and trailers welcome. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Wheels of all kinds are welcome!

Registration is currently closed but will re-open on event day at 7:00 AM.

$50 per cyclist
Choose your distance*:
12 MILES
25 MILES
56 MILES
100 MILES

Your distance selection is used for planning purposes.  You are welcome to switch to a different distance on ride day. 
*Please note that a slight variance/overage in mileage may apply to some routes.

3 MILE FAMILY FUN RIDE: $15 per person
No charge for Easterseals clients and children 12 and under.

START TIMES

6:00AM          Check-in and race day registration opens 

6:30AM          Course Opens: Choose Your Start Time       

Suggested start time for 100 mile ride is no later than 7:30 AM.
Cyclist’s choice for other distances. Due to a theater performance at Elgin Community College, you can expect increased traffic on the campus starting at 1:30PM. 12 and 25 milers are encouraged to complete the ride by 1:00PM.

12:00PM         Food Service & Family Activities and Entertainment

1:30PM           3 Mile Family Fun Ride

2:00PM           Bike Rodeo sponsored by the Elgin Bike Hub

RACE ROUTE CLOSES AT 4:00PM
