PAIGE'S PALS

Promoting CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS

               To ultimately FIND A CURE

Before cancer, Paige was a bright, sunny, 10 year old girl that loved to giggle with her friends, mother her little brother, and had a passion for animals. She was intelligent and an aspiring veterinarian.

After exhausting all possiblitlites of a cure; Paige's new goal was to bring awareness to Childhood Cancer, represented by the Gold Ribbon. Paige wanted no other child to suffer. She said if her having cancer meant no one else would have to suffer, she was willing. Paige wanted the Gold Ribbon to be just as symbolic as the pink ribbon, generating funds for research. Paige believed that:

AWARENESS=FUNDING=RESEARCH=A CURE
Paige's battle with cancer ended on November 7, 2007. Paige's Pals continue the fight in her honor.

About this Event

Paige’s Pals

A family fun event with music, fireworks, and a petting zoo, to help kids fighting cancer! Funds raised are restricted to pediatric cancer clinical research.

WALK, GLOW, FUN!

All event attendees must register to attend, even if not participating in the walk.


• Individual (16 & older) - $25  NO SHIRT INCLUDED AFTER 9/1.

• Individual (ages 6 - 15) - $15  NO SHIRT INCLUDED AFTER 9/1.

• Kids 5 and under - Free  Event t-shirt not included.


**There will be NO CUSTOMIZED T-SHIRT this year.  All shirts will be the same.


 

TEAMS

Participants can create or join an existing team. The team captain will select the team name. Team captains have the ability to edit their team page, invite others to join, and message group members. If you are creating or joining a team, choose “team” when registering in the second step.


 

NEW IN 2022:

Bring your own Glow gear and see who can GLOW the most. 

A mini flashlight will be provided to each child registered.


 

LUMINARIA

Purchase a personalized Luminaria Lantern for $10, IN HONOR, 

IN MEMORY, OR CELEBRATION of a cancer child the night of the event.

The Luminarias will light our walking path, and purchase as many as you would like. 

 


EMCEE - STEVE TINGLE

Be sure to listen to Steve on Sherman & Tingle Classic Rock 97.1 The Drive weekdays from 5:30 am til 9 am.  Steve is a huge supporter of Cal’s Angels and continues to raise funds and spread awareness for our cause.

 

EVENT TIMELINE

4:30 PM  -  Check-in & Doors Open

5:00 - 7:00 PM - 

     - Pre-Glow Dance Party.

     - Food & beverages are available for purchase

     - Kids fun zone open, bounce house, magician, glow tent

7:00 PM  -  Angel Celebration

7:30 PM  -  Walk Begins (shotgun start)

8:30 PM  -  Fireworks Show  


PARKING

Parking is free for all participants. Vehicles can enter on Cherry Lane or Fox Valley Ice Arena parking lot.
