As an occupational therapy student, I know how important it is to someone's quality of life to be able to participate in activities that are important to them. That is why I LOVE the Special Olympics and what they do for their athletes. From young to old, everyone is encouraged to play and compete in the sports they love. These athletes prove there are no limits to what they can achieve if they are just given the chance. I have a hefty goal this year. Please help me support these amazing athletes in achieving their dreams by making a donation today!

Take the plunge at City Lake Aquatic Center to support more than 2,000 local Special Olympics Texas athletes. Anyone can plunge young and old! Saturday, February 1, 2020 City Lake Aquatic Center 200 Parkview St, Mesquite, TX 75149 Registration Begins: 8:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies: 10:00 a.m. Entry: $30 Youth/$60 Adult  **You can pay the fee or fund raise to participate**

Special Olympics Texas invites you to take part in the Annual Polar Bear Plunge®! Are you brave enough? This event is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses and organizations to support more than 58,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes. All money raised for Polar Plunge will go toward providing year-round sports training and competition, health and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities in your community.
