5th annual Women Build Weekend event

Join Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties for two spectacular days filled with construction, training, learning, community building and fun. This year, we’ll be working at 3937 Highland Road in Cortland, the site of our newest build, and also at Builder’s Best with a series of carpentry projects and tool trainings. And, of course, we’re building our 5th fantastic playhouse!

Women Build Weekend is an opportunity to empower yourself, develop new friendships with other women in our community, and do some lasting good for a deserving local family. All the while, you’ll be learning new skills and helping spread the word that simple, decent, affordable housing is a necessity that we can’t overlook.  Registration is just $20 and we hope you’ll also create a fundraising page and help us reach our $25,000 overall fundraising goal.  All funds generated will go towards construction at 3937 Highland Road and, if we hit our goal, Women Build will be the largest single sponsor for this house!
