Join me in supporting Cancer Resource Center's mission, so they can have a greater impact on our community. The mission of the Cancer Resource Center is to create and sustain a community of support for people living with and affected by cancer. As some of you are aware, almost two years ago my skin cancer became aggressive and started going inwards and attacking my senses. I was put on a cancer drug (oral chemo) . Devastated and confused, I didn't know where to go. I found myself on the steps of Cancer Resource Center (CRC). Scared and confused, I entered. I was greeted by the nicest people. Bob dropped everything he was doing and spent over an hour with me. What an amazing man. Then I started going to the Friday support group -"Women's Noon Group". What a group of amazing and wonderful ladies. I witnessed first hand on many occasions CRC helping local people. Not just ones with cancer but also ones effected by cancer. The staff is so loving and caring. Many times you can see the weight be lifted off the person when they come to the CRC for help, guidance, or/and support. The love is like nothing else I have ever witnessed. It truely is a remarkable.place (organization). At CRC - YOU ARE FAMILY and it shows and is felt deeply. CRC motto says it all – we’re here because no one should face cancer alone. So please help me and this wonderful organization (family) fight the fight. Cause "This is Our (My) Fight Song, Take back my life song, Prove I'm alright song." Cause everyone should care. Thank you for caring and fighting the fight.
