Jessica Custer- Bindel
There is nothing like passing the day at the library. What can I say, I am spoiled! My library has awesome programming, an endless array of books, lively story-times (with music and dancing!), a play corner stocked with kitchen gadgets, trains, and puzzles, computers with educational games, friendly faces, and librarians who can read you under the table! And all of this is FREE! How could I not take this opportunity to give back to the place I consistently borrow from. Thank you, my dear library and all you librarians who now know us by name (particularly in the children's section). You just rock!
About this Campaign
Jessica Custer- Bindel
a 24-hour out loud reading challenge to raise funds and awareness
***BONUS: All donations made to the 2015 READATHON will be matched dollar for dollar by a generous grant from the Thaler/Howell Foundation.***
WHAT: The READATHON is our challenge to read out loud - one reader at a time, 30 minutes each, for 24 hours straight - to raise funds for our public library. Take a stand (or a comfy seat!) and help raise money and awareness.

WHEN & WHERE: Friday, September 25 @ noon through Saturday, September 26 @ noon, on the corner at 101 East Green Street, right in front of the public library
WHY: When you support a Reader Champion with your donation, our public library is able to do vital things like add PICTURE BOOKS to our YOUTH collections and make much needed additions to our EARLY LITERACY efforts. And our TEENS need some love too! Help us provide focused, expert-led programs on FINANCIAL LITERACY, best use of DIGITAL TOOLS, and YA BOOK CLUBS to name just a few. We can't forget our ARTS & CULTURAL offerings - all brought to you exclusively through donations such as yours.
