About Purple Ribbon Campaign

YWCA Mohawk Valley (YWCA MV) will hold our annual Purple Ribbon Campaign observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds from the campaign directly support our free, confidential, 24-hour domestic violence crisis services.

Local businesses, organizations, and individuals can participate in the Purple Ribbon Campaign in two ways. Participating locations across Oneida County can sell paper purple ribbons for a suggested donation of $1. The ribbons would then be displayed together in the establishment throughout October. Alternatively, we offer domestic violence awareness yard signs for $50. These displays create a powerful visual network of support for survivors across the community.
