About YouthBuild Lake County is Recruiting New Board Members

YouthBuild Lake County is actively recruiting for energetic, passionate and hard-working board members. We are looking for board members who believe in our mission and are willing to be active in their governance role.

The YouthBuild Lake County Board of Directors provides organizational leadership and vision, engages in strategic planning and forecasting for the agency and participates in agency fundraising efforts. Each board member also joins a committee of the board. Our committees include finance, fundraising and development, recruitment, and governance.

Our board meets monthly, the 3rd Friday of the month, from 8 - 10 a.m.

YouthBuild Lake County provides at-risk young adults with the education and training necessary to become gainfully employed and build a better future. Our students earn their high school diploma and then begin hands-on career training in construction, IT or transportation, distribution and logistics. We help to place our students in college or careers upon completing our program.

YouthBuild Board Members are proud of our organization and enjoy seeing their hard work reflected in the students we serve.
