About Juvenile Justice Ministry
JJM® seeks to engage young people as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters). These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they reenter their our community.
We need volunteers to help with:
Laura Dester (DHS Emergency Shelter)

We need volunteers to join us as we reach out to the abandoned and traumatized youth in DHS custody. Ages range from 4 to 18. We are in the process of establishing a chapel team as well as our City-Life mentoring program. (ongoing)

Juvenile Detention - Life Skills

Every Monday evening we facilitate Life Skills from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. We are looking for volunteers that want to volunteer at least one Monday a month. Come join us!

Juvenile Detention - Chapel

We help facilitate chapel services for the Tulsa County Juvenile Detention Center and need volunteers to join our team. You would be assigned to 1 Sunday service a month. Services are conducted between 9:30-11:15am. (ongoing)

Tulsa Boys Home

We need volunteers who want to go in as a team weekly for 2 hours and encourage and bring hope to youth who are in DHS custody or in the process of going through drug and alcohol treatment. We often connect with you in the Juvenile detention center and follow them on their journey to the Tulsa Boys Home, Laura Dester Shelter until they reach our communities. (ongoing) Will you join us?
