Your Economic Success (YES) believes financial literacy is critical for all students to thrive in the classroom and in life. Our experienced team provides resources and advocacy to help teachers educate students in economics and personal finance. Through workshops, curated lesson plans and virtual courses, we provide teachers tools to educate students from diverse backgrounds so they can understand economic principles, contribute to our local economy and live a more meaningful life.
Through one of our premier programs, YES brings capitalism and the concept of entrepreneurship to the classroom through Classroom Mini Economies and Mini Economy After School Clubs.
Students learn the principles of capitalism through an engaging and comprehensive simulation that introduces fundamental economic concepts such as cost of goods sold, scarcity, opportunity cost, allocation of limited resources, specialization, trade, working to earn money, capitalism vs. socialism, net profit, and saving money.
