About Children's Library Assistant

The Volunteer helps keep the Children’s Library neat & tidy. Model effective learning strategies for caregivers. Providing excellent customer service to patrons & children while checking In & Out books and other materials. Assisting our younger patrons on the computers when needed and even taking the time to just talk, listen or play a game. Other duties many include shelving library materials in numerical and alphabetical order, keep shelves neat in appearance. You may assist staff with check-in of items and other duties as needed.

Volunteer must complete an application & pass Background check and a State Child Abuse Clearance. Must be able to stand, squat, bend, and lift while interacting with members & preforming tasks.
