About Book Shelver

Organizes, straightens and shelves library materials on carts and library collection including books, CDs, DVDs and periodicals. Duties include shelving library materials in numerical and alphabetical order, check collections for accuracy, face materials on the shelf so they are neat in appearance and eye catching, put books on carts, report damaged materials to staff.

Volunteer must complete an application & pass a State Child Abuse Clearance. Must be able to stand, squat, bend, lift while shelving materials.
