About Volunteer with York C.A.R.E.S.!

The Mission of York C.A.R.E.S. is 'To help York’s homeless build stronger, healthier lives through compassionate and essential services'

York CARES is a program that is 99% Volunteer run with only professional oversight by the 1-2 professional staff members from the Children's Aid Society. This makes the program unique in serving clients.

Volunteer opportunities are needed and whether you help for 20 minutes or several times a week, every bit will go a long way to help this program expand and help more of our homeless population of York City.
