About Volunteer Social

Are you looking to spend a Saturday outdoors while also serving the community? Come to our family-friendly volunteer social on Saturday, June 18th! Join us for continental breakfast, a kid-friendly craft, and help us rid the trails of invasive species.

Meet us at Woldumar Nature Center at 9:00am for an hour of breakfast and crafting, followed by the removal of Dames Rockets until 12:00pm.

We will provide gloves and equipment, but feel free to bring your own if desired. Closed-toed shoes and pants are recommended. Don't forget your water, sunscreen, and bug spray to ensure for a comfortable experience.

We are excited to educate our community about invasive species and the importance of sustaining the natural environment. We are looking forward to your visit and assistance. Thank you for keeping Woldumar a beautiful and fun place to learn.

Application Process

It will help us plan if you sign up on our Facebook event page, but no registration is required -- just show up!

If you'd like to volunteer on a regular basis, you can complete a volunteer form on our website and we'll be sure to contact you the next time an opportunity arises!
