About Join the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps

WVAC is always in search of new, willing and competent volunteers to increase its membership. We are looking for people who are willing to make a commitment to our community. We sponsor an EMT certification course in partnership with Norwalk Hospital.
Our volunteers work a minimum of 36 hours per month. In addition, EMTs can also respond to 2nd calls and “neighborhood response” calls as needed. There are two required evening meetings each month.
Members are required to maintain their certification as prescribed by the State of Connecticut.
