About WTC Volunteer High School Tutor

Provide academic tutoring to WTC program students during center hours of operation (September-June, AM Session: 8am-10:30am & PM Session: 11:30am-2pm). Tutors are expected to complete an Ingham ISD volunteer application, pass a background check (completed by IISD HR department) and be interviewed/oriented by WTC staff for best fit with Talent Center student academic needs.
Volunteer tutors will provide academic support for WTC students who need it. Volunteer tutors may be asked to maintain a log of their volunteer hours and submit this to WTC for program monitoring purposes.
Please note that our students and their learning environment are of primary importance to us. A volunteer tutor's continued placement with a WTC student will be subject to supervision by WTC staff and may be terminated at any time for any reason deemed necessary by WTC staff.
