About WellsFest 2016

PLEASE Serve Your Community- Volunteer!

WellsFest, Jackson's original festival, was established in 1984 as a community service. From its modest beginnings, WellsFest has grown to become a significant community event, and a "must do" item on the fall social calendar. The festival features music, food, children's games, arts and crafts, a 5K run, pet parade, and family fun!

All proceeds from the festival activities go to this year's designated beneficiary, The Center for Violence Prevention. Through their partnership with multiple community organizations and a committed staff focused on the needs of the domestic violence client, The Center for Violence Prevention advocates that every person has the right to a life free from violence. They serve Claiborne, Copiah, Hinds, Issaquena, Madison, Rankin, Sharkey, Simpson, Warren and Yazoo Counties.
