About Serving meals at Wayside Christian Mission

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Wayside Christian Mission. We serve three meals a day at two different campuses and the hours are as follows:

Breakfast - 6:00 - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch - 11:00 - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner - 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Please feel free to pick a couple of dates and times that would work well with your schedule and get back with me at this address. I will be more than happy to see if we can fit you into the calendar for those days. Thank you again for your interest and support.

Application Process

We ask new volunteers to go through a one hour orientation to become acquainted with our facilities and the many ministry/volunteer opportunities. Our volunteer orientations are held weekly on Saturdays at 10 AM (excluding holidays). Our chaplain, Michael Blunk, conducts the orientations. Volunteers should meet in the hotel lobby (120 West Broadway, 40202) where Chaplain Mike will guide you to a meeting room and overview the mission and our many volunteer opportunities.
