CFOS - Warwick Skatepark Initiative

About Us

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Warwick Skatepark Initiative. WSI is a nonprofit community advocacy group formed to build a premier skate park in Veterans Memorial Park in the Village of Warwick. The new location is on the park grounds adjacent to Albert Wisner Library.

Skate park activities benefit youth of all ages and demographics. As an activity it provides exercise, skill, and dexterity, it is also a form of stress release, important as communities recover from the effects of the pandemic.

The goal is to replace Warwick’s current popular, but outdated skate park with a state of the art facility, designed for all ages and athletic abilities. Warwick and especially our park facilities attract a wide audience, a new park will positively impact local businesses as families come into the Village to shop and dine.

The anticipated cost for this project is $300,000. We hope you would sponsor this endeavor by serving as a business partner. The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serves as the fiscal sponsor for WSI and all donations are tax deductible. As a sponsor, your business will receive exposure from ongoing media coverage and promotional events.

Enclosed you will find detailed information on our three levels of sponsorships: Gold ($15,000), Silver ($10,000) and Bronze ($5,000). Customizable brick pavers are available for purchase with prices ranging from $50-$75 for 4x8” bricks, $500 for an 8x8” paver, and $1,000 for a 12x12” paver. Please take a moment to review and select the sponsorship opportunity which best fits your business and budget. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Thank you for considering our request and we hope to partner with you in creating a community skate park that Warwick can be proud of and that our youth and their families can enjoy for years to come.
