About TRAINING - In-person Training Cleveland - "Starting an Annual Fund from Scratch"


Could your organization use thousands of dollars in unrestricted funds on a consistent annual basis? The Annual Fund has long been a reliable source of such funding, and builds a foundation on which more significant funding can be generated. Learn the basics of establishing the Annual Fund, and how to generate results within six months.

Where: Cleveland Chamber of Commerce, 600 3rd Street, Cleveland, Mississippi 38732

When: Wednesday, April 1, beginning at 9:00AM and ending at 12:00PM

Training Presenter:
Mike Ward has 40 years of experience in writing proposals, managing grants and building philanthropic assets, primarily in the field of rural community development. He is responsible for tens of millions of dollars in support of rural programs in Mississippi from foundations, corporations and governmental agencies. Mike is a founding board member of the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits, and holds professional degrees in social work, law and public administration.
