About Emergency Animal Sheltering Training: Planning for Pets in Your Community

This daylong training is a combination of lecture and hands on activities where you will learn how to set up an emergency animal shelter, learn about available planning and response resources for animals in your community and opportunities to volunteer with VDART. This is a required training for all volunteers wishing to join a regional response team to help animals when disaster strikes.
